We have pictures of the school completed last year!

In June, 2008 we finished our second school in the community of El
Aulo, Nicaragua. This 3-room schoolhouse was built mainly with labor
donated by the recipient community and materials purchased by Project
Schoolhouse. It has one dividing wall and one moveable partition,
which opens to give more space for larger events and community
gatherings.

We fenced the property to keep animals out, built new sidewalks to cut
down on mud inside the classroom, and built new latrines.

The school we are building currently will resemble this school considerably.

Project Schoolhouse starts construction on third school

Work has begun on Project Schoolhouse's third elementary school in
Nicaragua. This year we have partnered with the community of
Manceras, Nicaragua to build another three-room school. Like the
other two projects, this 24 family community is near Rio Blanco,
Nicaragua and subsists primarily from farming and dairy production.

Excavation began on February 1, 2009 and the foundation is now
underway. I'll have pictures available of the school soon.
